Does D90 with a shutter count of 60000 worth buying?

I believe the average life expectancy of the shutter, on the D90, is in the region of 100,000. So you could still get a lot of use out of this one but any price would need to reflect the use.
 
It took me about 2 year to clock up 40k. I shoot very regular, so you'll get at east that out of it.

Mine's up for sale on another [Irish, local] site, no interest in it yet. Might be sticking it on here too. WHat kind of price are you being offered it at?
 
D90 body only here seem to range from 300 - 350 but I've not seem any with that sort of count. I would want it around 200 with that sort of count...
 
I'm selling mine for €400 [£318] - with a spare battery and wireless remote control. Still got the box, cables, charger of course. The only issue with mine is that the display inside the viewfinder is dead. Other than that the camera is in good nick, as is the LCD screen. With the actuation count not being near as high as the one you're viewing, I think my pricing is fine :)

That sounds a little steep to me. The shutter count wouldn't put me off at all but you might expect that the grips etc will need changing soon. Not particularly expensive to do but worth factoring in. The screen would bother me more as it would cost a bit to sort out. I'd push for closer to £200. That said the seller might well tell you to b****r off as there will always be some mug on ebay who will give him £900 for it.

Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, MPB have a range of D90's from about £300 up to £350 ish, all of which will have a 6 month warranty. With that in mind, I personally wouldn't want to pay anymore than about £300 for an absolutely mint private used one, substantially less for a ropey one.

One point in general though, the D90 is a great camera and buying one would be a very wise move indeed.
