I listen to music and it throws a gazzalion ideas at me!

I wish I could have my images so I could capture the music into my image. If you understand what I mean?

Could you expand a little on this? It sounds like you're struggling to put into words what you're thinking in your head, much like the relationship between the music and the photography?
 
Mmmm it's really hard to explain, it's as if the music creates/supports the picture.

Like for example i'm now listening to Waking The Cadaver (Really Aggresive Music) and it just makes me want to photograph a fight scene... Or if I was listening to Chillout... A beatiful scenery.

Does that help?
 
Now I see where you're coming from.

Do you listen to music while out taking pictures? And if so, would you say that you 'need' to listen to the right sort of music for the subject matter in question? Or do you even get distracted from your intended subject by the music that you might happen to be listening to at the time?

I kinda get what you mean, see the photo hear the music, is that what you meant?

I find Music does help sometimes, For me, it helps me concentrate on what I am doing and block out the rest of the world. That combined with decent compelling lyrics does set the creative thinking flowing.

My problem is transfering my ideas into photographs that work and look good, always seem to struggle!

Couldn't agree more

I've never gone out with my ipod plugged in while taking pics... It's just when i'm at home just sitting around doing what I do best (nothing)

And an idea will go BOOM and it'll be like yeah! thats a sick idea!

For example, i'm now listening to City And Colour - the Girl. It's an acoustic band and the song's about how the girl he is with will do anything for him, lyrics:

And it gives me not so much an image in my head but an idea... an idea of two people together going through no matter what
