Does Nikon d300 take same memory cards as Canon 450d?

I use Sandisk Extreme 3 cards on my 450d but i am wondering will these work if i land the d300 i am after or should i sell them with my 450d?

Nikon D300 takes compact flash cards, so i suppose it depends what you have in the 450.

Edit. The 450 is SD/SDHC, so they won't fit
