Does this battery look genuine ?

I'm a Canon man and have bought batteries that I know aren't genuine. They have been as good and in some cases better than the canon batteries, holding charges for longer.

What exactly is your concern? The company has good feedback and if the batteries match your Nikon you shouldn't have a problem.

to be honest having just bought a brand new D90 i didn't want to fit it with something that could potentially damage it , I know you could argue that having spent nigh on £750 on a camera I should just buy a genuine battery from a "known" source , but i'm skint !!!!

I've recently bought a couple of Phottix EN-EL3e batteries from ebay, seem to work perfectly well in my D90 grip and power swaps over properly when one battery runs out. I've just ordered another couple. I'd certainly recommend them. Take about 2 weeks to arrive from Hong Kong. I've ordered a few things from the supplier now with no problems at all.

I have also bought batteries in the past that I knew weren't genuine, but were sold as so. What annoys me is when something is sold as genuine, which turns out to be otherwise.

Think That I would be carefull. I bought the same type of battery for my D200 from China( supposed to be genuine) but when it arrived, you could tell that it was fake!
I made a comparison with a genuine and fake (both fully charged) and the voltages were totally different so I did not take any chances and returned the goods. I certainly would not take a chance on a new camera as it may void the warranty.

got my D40 non-original battery from 7DayShop - as good as a Nikon IMO

They normally sell for just over £30 and the quote "in new packaging" rings the bells for me but like most have said non genuine batteris are fin and I have 2 non Nikon ones and they do seem to last longer than my oem batteries and havent made my camera blow up yet, could be a good deal if it has the hologram sticker on the bottom

The official Nikon guide to fake batteries :)

I got one of those counterfeit batteries from a Marketplace seller on Amazon. If it hadn't been for that Nikon guide, I would have been none the wiser, as cosmetically the quality was just as good as the real thing. Don't know about what was inside though as I immediately sent it back for a refund!
