Hi,

As the title says really, I've just ordered the Google Nexus One, it's not in stock but should have it in a week or so .

I'll be unlocking it, removing the vodafone stuff and putting a clean Rom on to it asap.

I'd like to get a DOF calculator installed similar to the one I have on my ipod touch, has anyone got any experience with them and could recommend one, preferably cheap or free

I've used "Depth of Field Calculator" strangely enough! It's free and seems to do the trick.

Hope you enjoy Android. Make sure you get google sky map and google shopper - they aren't there by default!

Just installed that one myself, looks very handy.

Do you have any idea of what the flash GN number means?

I use an app called CamCalc, which does DoF, field of view, focal length equivalents, flash calculations, color-temp conversion, miniatures (whatever they are), solar calculations (paid version only) and exposure compensation.

There's a free ad-supported version, or I think it's £1.99 for the full version.

Mark put it well..
There's an excellent guide to how to use a flash's guide number to calculate exposure here

Cheers for the recommends, CamCalc looks good and comprehensive but I'll give the 'Depth of Field Calculator' a try first as that seems like it will do enough for me.

Checked my email tonight and apparently the phone has been dispatched today :D
