Just read some of the GF1 review, which I thought was quite interesting.
Quick question for those in the know.
To my knowledge, DOF is defined by aperture, focal length and distance to target. Just how does the 2:1 crop sensor on 4/3rds cameras like the GF1 affect DOF.
e.g. imagine I'm taking a shot of a person that is say 3m from me using a FF camera with an 85mm lens at F2.0.
Would the DOF be similar to say a GF1 at 3m using a 45mm lens (thus equilvant to a 90mm lens) also at F2.0?
Thanks in advance.
