I would have done "that shot" Dave
but as I did fall in that lake some months ago, and it was bloody cold, :(
I wasn't prepared to repeat the experience :)
( I'll tell you about it sometime)

Great shots (especially the final one) of a lovely looking dog!:clap:

In our case with my springer Chris water and dog = smelly doggy springer  great shots mate, I particularly like the last one (y)

Lovely dog and shots, but it looks a tiny bit oversharpened to me
I am in no way qualified to comment so please feel free to ignore, but i think a little subtle sharpening looks better

How do they manage to find the smelly slimy bits
Do they have a built in "slim detector"? :D

Maybe just at tad over, unfortunately
black dog dripping wet in bright sunlight also = virtually no definition

Should have said. I like the "twirl" of water from the tail in No2. Looks like he is smiling too. Or have I been on the hill too long?

Thanks LB (y)
I did get a few but there was so much water spraying everywhere
that they really weren't that good :(

Not sure why nobody else mentioned it but...

There is a slight halo around the dog and i think its because you've over done the sharpening... Very nice shots but the sharpening needs toning down , try a slight unsharp mask :)

Go on! Post a big SPLOSH shot! just for me! :)

and why is all you guys suddenly into pink?

Thanks for your comments (y)
It was mentioned ( sort of ) in post 12 & 13.

I'll look later Lb but I think that they may be in the bin

As for the pink thing there are loads of threads about,
about the pink, but if you have time have a read through here it should go part way to explaining things (y)

But basically MD mentioned "pink" and got a pink title,
being the good friend that I am extracted the urine something rotten
and got a pink title Joe threatened to shut the thread down.... the rest is
history as they say :D

 10 pages!!!!!! How did I miss that! :bonk:

Sorry LB no splashes ( all environmentally recycled)
just the "Jesus dog" walking on water

She is a working dog, small and compact from working stock rather than "pet" or "show" stock.
