I love the eyes

you have done something to that shot...its a bit comical and the eye on the right could be made to look more like the left..at present it looks artificial
the nose and tongue dominate...although i love a wet nose and a good face lick
but toning them down would give more 'preference' to the eyes

Looks way too overplayed to me whether that be PP or lighting. But it's a shame cos it's an otherwise nice shot[I'd have been inclined to not have such a tight crop though] but a nice shot

I'll redo the pp but the eye is natural, just sharpened slightly.

That looks like a "Merle" (spelling) collie, and they do have peculiar eye colouring. In this case though toning down the eye would improve the shot, not as much as the second image though

Found the problem, had left the opacity slider on the high pass filter at 100%:bonk:

Adjusted and tones it down somewhat.

It wasnt the eye bothering me. I *know* the eyes were meant to be that colour/it's a Merle thing but much better
