I haven't had time to properly get out yet with the D700 and the 50mm lens, but took the opportunity to take a photo of this dog in the street today. I've also learnt a bit about using the gradient map today, and while it's not to everybody's taste, I love the funky colours it's produced in the photo. I did the best I could with getting the focus on the eyes but unfortunately, I think the focus is just slightly behind them.
