Using photoshop my PC keeps stalling. Investigation reveals both drives are completely full, but just the other day they had plenty of room. Further investigation reveals a number of temporary photo shop files sized at 50 Gb plus. I remove these in the hope of solving the problem. But no chance same problem!
Then I thought about what was I doing in photo shop, I was cropping an image to 1024 by 768 pixels. By chance I looked at the crop tool. The figures were right but the units were cms instead of pixels Doh. My PC was trying to resize the image to 1024 cm by 768 cms ie about 10 by 8 metres!!!!! No wonder it collapsed and hung enough said lesson learnt
