I was born and brought up by the sea (Isle of WIght) and since moving I really do miss it. I'm always drawn to the magnificence and power of waves. We went to visit Mrs. Chuckle relatives in Northern Ireland and spent some time over near Donegal - these were at Mullagh Moor. We didn't have time to get down to the beach so the size of these Atlantic rollers breaking is lost.... I should imagine a swell of about 8-10 metres would be no exaggeration! In some I've captured a gull but it's a bit like "Where's Wally?"

Number 2 is well worth a look full size in Flickr (even though I say so myself)

Thanks for looking.

Nicely timed in No2
Love the colours and rolling form.
I'm thinking it would make a great pano image too

Many thanks for all your thoughts and comments

Yes, nice shots but as you say, lacking any scale.

Difficult to achieve - although I did try (only a had a gull for reference) :)

Love this place

I can see it's attraction - I think I'd spend hours here if I had the opportunity
