Hiya,

I am looking at heading across to Donna Nook on Sunday and wanted to know whats the best time to arrive is based on the tide times?

High tide is at 11:52 and 5.5m.

If I start walking out at 10:00 will i be ok with the tide? I dont mind being cut off at high tide for a couple of hours when out on the sandbank, I just want to know how to beat the tide on the walk out so i can get a longer lay in :)

Many Thanks
Euge

Just as a heads up to anyone who searchs for the same thing and finds this thread. The sandbanks didnt get cut off, from what I have been told they only get cut off when the tide is above 7m.

On a side note the Wildlife Trust are strongly discouraging people (photographers) from heading out to the sandbanks. If you are intent on heading out there they will give you a brief on how you can minimise your impact on the seals.

Cheers
Euge
