Door detail

Not sure if this belongs in here or not really....

Ive started getting more interested in the smaller details of things around me, and as a result of having a really boring Saturday afternoon, I went off up the garden with the camera. This is from the door of our old shed, and I was attracted to the peeling paint, spots of rust and small cobwebs.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I like where you are going with this, keep shooting random stuff up close and you'll fine tune a 'style' or eye for detail.

Regarding this shot, I think its close to being super intriguing. Maybe the composition could use some work, it feels a little uncomfortable to me with the subject sat at the bottom of the frame. Maybe a landscape shot with the subject in the left-most third would be more compelling?

Have you tried putting this into black and white and fiddling with levels/contrast?

I think that could really add some 'atmosphere'.
