Downhill Mountain Biking

A friend invited me to a local event this weekend to watch some downhill mountain biking, a good opportunity for me to try out some action flavour photography! Also gave my new cheapo wireless transmitter from e-bay a whirl with my flash. I'm quite happy with these ones so might go back tomorrow for the rest of the event! Slower shutter speed next time to try and get a little more background blur.

It wasnt untill afterwards I found out that I was at the corner where most people plough straight on....

Which triggers did you get off eBay. I'm after some in the near future.

How do you get the faces so sharp? Just careful focus or have you done anything on PP to enhance their faces?

Thanks, PP was quite minimal on these for a change, all slightly processed in Lightroom 2 using the "Quick Develop" tools and a little sharpening and noise reduction.
