Try Firefox and look on their add-ons for ratings. Download Helper can be good, but needs an encoder adding. Plenty of choice.

I've used DVDvideosoft's Youtube downloader for many years.....works a treat. I even paid for the premium option to speed things up a little (well worth a few quid if you use it a lot)
