I took this from our hotel room balcony. I've not done a real amount of long exposure work, but got real excited when this one popped out :D Still need to get my head round techniques and exposures for this type of photography.

I think that's superb! Would have been nice to have a little something in the sky, so might have been worth getting there a few hours earlier just to catch it.

Lovely shot though, fine work!

I know what you mean about something in the sky. Holiday beers put paid to early morning togging but will make the effort for the golden hour as I really want to try more of this type of shots.
 
Veeery nice, a slight crit if I may....

IMVHO...A little tight in the frame and converging verticals.

I agree on with your crit. I was using my 24-105 which was not wide enough. Seems like a good excuse to get something a bit wider.
