I managed to capture this dragonfly at the weekend . I have no idea on the id so if anyone could help that would be great . Im quite pleased with this shot as its nice to get a clean background but all comments will be appreciated .

Hi - Its a male Common Darter that hasn't got its full mature orange-red colouration yet. The angle of your shot is perfect, with a really good clean background to help the Darter stabnd out. All in all a great shot.

Thanks Mark for your comment and Dragonfly ID . I would like to see them in there mature colours think i will have to pay them another visit .
