dragonfly...

took this a week or so back with my 70-200 lens,so not true macro...it's had a 100% crop,but i think it's turned out okay..what say you folks?

i'm not sure what the reflection is in the eyes,as they were taken in bright daylight,so no flash used:shrug:

Nice capture Stan. The reflection is the sun, I have that in all of my dragon pics that have been taken in sunshine.

yep,the border isn't the best i've 'done'..but i couldn't be bothered to change it,as i was in a lazy mood .alby...i like it,but i'll be a darned site happier if i could produce the likes of what you do mate .how on earth do you get really close to these to get true 1:1 macro?every time i get within a few feet they fly off...perhaps i need to get there early before they warm up :shrug:
