With a little hint of HDR ? maybe?.

This lens still takes some beating.

Nice composition with the leading line of the log mirroring the line of the cloud. Some love HDR effects, I don't. I notice the processed look first and the picture second.
 
Yes there was a hint of HDR and a little Topaz adjust to bring the sky to life.

This would of looked great as a one shot I am sure, you got the composition spot on, may of overworked it a bit with HDR. You love or hate it.
I think it has its moments, but that it. you can't beat straight shots in my opinion. Any chance of seeing this in its first glory

The original sky was pretty much and non entity as I didn't have any grads with me. Without HDR the shot would have been binned.

Although the processing is not to my taste the image has plenty of impact and I like how you've composed it with the strong line of the tree mirroring that of the prominent dark cloud in the sky. Some good textures in there as well

Enjoy shooting at the ultra-wide end of the scale, you'll love it :)
 
Very nice, look forward to seeing what you can do with this new lens!
 
A pleasant enough image but as has been said I would cut back a tad on the hdr
