Drips and drops

Good shots , I think the first one is the best, the drops add more interest to the image.

the water drops on #1 not only make it interesting but they give the shot a more dynamic feel.

#2 has a very flat feel in comparison (noting to do with technique)

Just goes to show what a wee scoosh of water can do!

I agree,The ringflash does give a very flat light. I guess the water bounces the light around a bit to give it some more depth.
