Has anyone else on here had an issue with defect prints from DSCL?

I've had it a few times now and they've replaced them straight away (I've had to resend the original files) so very happy with their customer service too.

I've just had another order and its the same again though.

I get some ghosting, usually on the lower half of the image (usually just a pattern from a bit of above) and a couple have little black dots and what looks like patterned pixelation.

They seem to think its the files corrupting during upload and I want to see if anyone else is having the same issues?

The photos have a guest pass as they are set to private.

Just spoke to them again.

Apparently its an issue when uploading when using wifi, they are going to speak with their support people they use for uploading.

But as always, they are reprinting them now and popping them in the post for me!

I must say their customer service has been excellent so far!
 
I ordered 60 A4 prints from them a while back, and found the quality of the prints excelent. But they had randomly cropped some of my photos, even thoughall were cropped to exactly the same A4 ratio. Rather than stick to my uploaded crop they had re-cropped to how they wanted, causing a loss in the correct framing of my shots and also random cut off's of my watermark.
 
Still had the same issues, looks like it was my browser. Did it every time in Google Chrome, uploaded the same image using safari and all is a'ok!! Damn Chrome!!!!! :bang:

I've had similar problems with Chrome - really annoying
 
I use Chrome & DSCL and have never had issues with print defects like that. I do use a hard wired connection though.

I use Chrome and have no issues, most of the time these things are user error.
 
just had some back myself and they have been slightly cropped which is annoying as i had put a small black border and text on some and the text is half cropped :bang: spoke to them and they said i should have allowed space even though they where correctly sized, images maybe cropped between 2-4mm which is in their faq's quality is excellent though !!!
