Hello. Sorry I have made a thread about a DSLR for £300 but ive had a good chat to a family member and I have a question about a different camera. If I was to get a 1100D it would set me back £350 + the money for case / memory card etc.

Im wanting to get pictures up for sale on canvases/ in frames. Ive noticed a few fujifilm camera's which have good ratings but will they produce good enough images to go on the canvases and sell. Im aware I will also need to buy materials to produce the canvases and I only have an A4 printer so I will need to upgrade this in order to produce bigger canvases at a later date.

So the big question, are there any Fujifilm cameras worth getting for my requirements?

As a general rule, the bigger you are enlarging a picture the better the camera (and lenses) you need. If you are going larger than A4 I wouldn't consider anything other than a DSLR (or other large sensor camera), especially if you are planning on selling them.

Also, I'd suggest you look into printers (or other options) now - to do it properly costs a fortune and if you can't do it properly people won't pay much for them.
 
My brother has just bought an 1100D up from a fuji hs10 bridge camera,he said the difference in quality is amazing and only wishes he'd bought the DSLR first.

One of these should do the job nicely and you'll have lots left over for your printer etc :thumbs:

Love viewing photos so ive commented on a few photos as well as this thread. Anyone use mbphotography? Looking at a 400d body that way i have a warranty. I need to just order the damn thing, lol
 
can not comment on mbp but re the camera I have have had 2 400d bodies for 4 years now, they are still going strong and worked a full day at minus 30 in east germany a couple of weeks ago.

The one thing you may find with mpb is that they misdescribe the condition of their goods....

They tend to be in much better condition than they say they are, so don't have any worries about purchasing from them :D
