DSLR Slow motion video

Can anyone tell me if the Canon 7D can do ultra slow motion video capture ?

I'm pretty sure it can't unfortunately. The 7D does 24/25/30 fps at 1080por 50/60 fps at 720p.
There are some compacts on the market that can do upto about 1200fps video if I remember correctly.

If you capture footage at 50 or 60 fps you can then slow it down so you are getting half speed with 50 fps or 2.4 times slower with 60 fps. That not amazingly slow but works well enough to add some cool shots into your video.
