all great! number 1 for me.
number 10 would have been the winner if the blonde girl's face was the thing in focus, but i dont think thats what you were meant to be focussing on LOL
Cheers Gary - that was a "decisions, decisions" moment, I went with my first instinct
btw, i tried to do number 1 for ages, and yours is far better than mine!
and i never saw a single car spark! were they only doing it saturday (when i wasnt there) ?
Yeah #1 was a new angle we found on Saturday after being forced away from where we would have been by TV cameras and advertising banners, but I'm pretty pleased it happened!
Sparks... only happened for about 15 minutes when they first hit the track on Saturday morning - then the scuff plate wore down and the ride height came up!
Thanks Harry! Its an oldie, but..
Stunning set, like 8 nice bit of panning.
Cheers Allan, shiny car!
Ta Matthew, glad thats getting some love.
All great shots, put mine to shame!! How do you take a shot like numbers one and three??
Thanks Rod, those are 1/30th shutters whilst you track the front of the car. The movement is more excessive because of the speed and turn rate of DTM cars.
All bleedin Greek to me
1 and 10 were the best for me.
Did I say 10, meant 9 of course
LOL Mike! Hope your Mrs didn't catch you looking at 10, errr I mean 9.
Alles gut.
Do like the slow shutter for the wheel change practice and as for #10, if our we took a lesson from Deutsche Post, I don't think our post offices would be closing.
Danke Neil! The wheel change is a slow shutter and a rear sync flash to kick in at the end. Bit of fun with that. The crowd absolutely loved seeing that stuff.
As for #10.... well thats one post office queue it was nice to be at the back of
Cracking set Andy another vote for the wheel change shot and rather like number 3 and as for the blonde in 10 i wonder if she was the girl that ran past us Sunday morning still in curlers late for parade
Thanks Gaz! Sunday morning I was chuckling at them trying to get up the steps from the tunnel in porn heels... wobble, wobble...trip! Shouldnt laugh really!
They're all garbage. Every single one of them.
I'm glad it's not just me that sufferst from dust spot syndrome though.
I like all of 1,3,4,7,8,9,10 but the first and the third keep drawing me back, very nice slow shutter work.
I don't know the song though, so I couldn't sing along to myself while viewing... Off to YouTube for me!
Good work sir.
Cheers Matty! DTM is weird, its pretty much the one time of the year when everything drops into place for me and I start to work on something more than usual. Can't explain why really, but suspect its down to the amount of a "show" they put on...
Have you found Kraftwerk yet? I can't believe you don't know that tune... I expect you do, just don't know what its called...
Glad you reminded me to clean my gear BTW - just heading off to do that when I've finished typing this.
1, 3 and 9 for me Andy, but they're all fantastic, definitely a great set!
I was meant to make it, but I went out for a couple of beers on Saturday night and it all went t*ts up. Lesson learnt though, I haven't had any other opportunities recently so I was a bit gutted!
Hey Bill, cheers! Hahaha the beer trap! Been there, done that!
You missed a good one. Its Historics this bank holiday weekend...
8,9 and 10 are pretty awesome
Thank you David!
As usual very good shots.
Love #8, but then I like a shiny Merc.
Oh, #s 9 & 10 aren't bad either
Thanks Mark!
