Lovely pics! When I was in Siena, it was too crowded, and I did not go inside ...

You were lucky that it was, seemingly, quiet. It was very busy when we were there some years ago.

Some nice shots, Alf. Could highlights be reduced on #3 to bring out more detail in the stained glass window?
We were there some years ago and i remember my wife being awestruck as we turned a corner and saw the building for the first time.

Not to busy but a bit early in the year and a cool damp day

Timing your shots is important too though to get as few people as possible but I can imagine in summer it is very busy

I really needed to shoot a second image about 4 stops lower than this one and this is afar as I felt I could go at -2.5 stops on the window and reducing the highlights
