Back from a weekend in the Lofoten islands, up the top of Norway, in the arctic circle. My fave so far....

You've managed to capture some really nice colours there, it does feel a little unbalanced though.

Perhaps some cropping? There is an awful lot of sky there!

Whereabouts did you take this image? Are you looking back from Henningsvaer to the Storepillieren?

Out of interest what led you to the Lofoten Islands for a weekend break. Isn't somewhere that most people would normally go.

I spent an incredible 3 weeks there some years ago climbing the classics one summer. Its somewhere I'd really like to go back to at some point in the future.

great shot. i do agree that there is alot of sky there but thats me just being picky.
