Dust Aid, poor result.......

Just completed two cleaning process's with a Dust Aid kit, but rather disappointed in the result.....

Would a wet clean at a camera shop clear up the rest

I had exactly the same experience. I used something similar to dust aid before i went to New York. It did sweet FA to the sensor and the majority of shots had dust/pollen on them. I purchased a DIY wet kit the one i bought was Green Clean, and it got rid of the majority of debris from my sensor, however there are a few bits which do not seem to move.

I did ask for a quote from Jessops for it to be cleaned but i laughed out of the shop as they wanted something like £50 for it.

what dust aid kit i have the sticky pad thing rubbish, and the wet clean which works spot on.

It is the Dust Aid dry sticky system. It has lifted some of the spots but the sensor is still very dirty............. Guess I will need to get a wet clean quoted but who? Jessops or LCE are the best known in my area.
