Dust in the eye viewer

A few days ago I was out shooting on a very windy day and since that day I have noticed some dust inside the "eyepiece", I guess it happen while changing lens:bang:. The sensor and mirror have be cleaned but whenever I look through the eye-viewer the dust is still visible, but does not show on photos.
The camera is a Canon 50D and it seems like 2 small crews only are holding this part into position.
Has anyone had that problem before and do you think that I can clean it myself or is it advisable to get it professionally cleaned. :shrug:

Dont bother, It'll only end up worse. It might also be on the focus screen, again you can do it yourself, but its not really worth the hassle, unless you have a completely dust free environment to do it in.

Cleaned mine on my 5d2 it's not to difficult if you just take care and take your time.

It's similar to this video just that you bave to remove the screws first. Only your blowing the dust out with a rocket blower not replacing it.

You just need to use a rocket blower and not touch the screen with your fingers.

If you can see it through the viewfinder, it's almost certainly on the underside of the focusing screen, which is above the mirror. You don't need to remove anything.

Get rid of it with a rocket blower if it annoys you (better there than on the sensor) but do not touch anything - the focusing screen is very delicate. Turn the camera upsidedown so that with luck, the dust falls out.

I learnt a few more techie terms, I am nearly a pro now. I am going to invest in a good rocket blower and take it from there, if the dust shifts cool, if not I will get it done.
According to CrishH video it seems straight forward to do but I do not have the tool to do the job and I will be worried to do more damage than good
