Dust on GF1 sensor

Well I suppose it was bound to happen. I was doing a few small-aperture shots the other day and noticed a number of dust splodges on the pictures.

As the sensor is smaller than a "normal" DSLR the splodges do look quite a bit bigger. I used a blower to shift them, but it's just something to watch out for. The price to pay for interchangeable lenses.

Which is an often overlooked benefit of the Olympus E-PL1 and E-Px bodies - the SSWF dust reduction works really well to the point where you never have to resort to cleaning the sensor.

I think with all of the systems, it's degrees of working. Oly introduced active dust removal to the market and has the most mature one. In independent comparative tests, it's the only one I know of that reliably works 99% of the time.
