What's the best and cheapest way of getting rid of dust on the sensor (I think). I have just bought a Canon EOS 400D and have notice a black speck by one of the 9 AF points. I think this is dust?
If you see it through the viewfinder it is either on the focus screen, or on the mirror, you cannot see sensor dust through the viewfinder.
If so just give the mirror and focus screen a blast from a rocket blower, should dislodge it, do not touch either with anything as they are both easy to scratch.
How do I clean just the mirror? Sorry about the questions but I'm new to all this!

Remove the lens, and blow air onto it using a Rocket Blower or similar, do not use a compressed air can as this can spit propellent onto it.
