Before I post anything I've got to say how much respect I now have for you aviation 'togs, I didn't realise how difficult it was and I was really struggling, the images you have posted up from Duxford have been superb. One observation from today is that there are an awful lot of white lenses on display, in particular the 100-400mm.

Anyway here are some of mine, I had real problems to begin with trying to shoot the F-15 and in the end I removed the TC and just used the 70-200mm 'bare'. Oh how I would have loved some longer glass today!

think you have done v well there mate ... hope you enjoyed it ..

No 3. was you up in the air next to them? Shame it wasn't bluer sky, thats the only thing that lets them down really. I have to say, I used to supply a specialist agency with aviation pictures, these are far better. If you haven't cropped (which I don't think they are) these they are very well caught.

I was hoping for a blue sky, it certainly would have made the metering easier, something I really struggled with today. Some of the images have been cropped slightly but not by a great deal. Thanks for the vote of confidence! (y)

Hi Colin, Not as easy as seems is it..

For a person with as much talent as you with a camera I take pride in my offerings from Duxford..:)

Your shots are very nice mate but of course the longer the lens at "most airshows" always pay's dividends in the results. With a 200mm lens here you have done fantastic.

Great effort Colin. Nice set..(y)

You did very well I think, all nice shots, I am glad you got a shot of the Lancaster, and I like the colours in 14.

Jees am I the only one who couldn't take the camera out this weekend :crying:

You've done very well Hacker. Was one of those difficult exposure days I think. I found myself having to switch to Aperture Priority over Manual a few times when the clouds came in and went and then came in again.

You going to RIAT?

Nice one Hacker, you done a sterling job. Metering on sunny days can be a real dog. Thing is now, your gonna be hooked, say goodbye to most weekends.
Dean:)

Great pics Colin and some lovely flying machines. Not enough air displays up here :(
