Hi, can any help please , i am using windows xp which should play a Dvd , and the 1st time i try to use it i cant get it to work .
I have a new camera and am trying to play the Dvd on "how to use it ", i have tried the help bit on windows and the Dvd bit is switched on , but i dont know what to do now. HELP please.:)
 
Do you have software on the pc which will play dvds?


/edit if not have a look for videolan.org it's a good free player.
 
Try VLC Media Player.
 
XP does not have built in support for DVD's like it has for CD's, therefore you need additional software.
There are freebies out there.
Nero does a freebie which is a rather bloated program.
Ashampoo does a freebie and is about 1/5th the size of Nero. Nice basic program for playing and writing DVD's. I use it with XP.
 
Hi,:) Thanks very much every one , the problem some how seems to have sorted its self out and is playing the Dvd , dont know what was wrong as its the 1st time i have tried to play 1 on it .:thumbs:
