Dvi dual link cable problem re dell monitor

Hello,


I'm considering buying a 2560x1600 resolution dell monitor but my laptop only has hdmi connection whereas the monitor has dvi dual link,

My problem is I want the full resolution above... Would a dvi dual link to hdmi cable do the trick or is there more to this!!!
