I've done no photo shop on any these. i took over 1200 photos, if i get time this week i might play with a few, with my very limited photoshop skills.

They look good to me (but then Im a noob myself) though they could do with a little bit of processing. Went to the one in december thinking I might go to the next one this month

i cant go on the 28th :( im in bristol that weekend.

Yeah they could do with a bit of PP, but to be honest my skills lack. I tried last night but jsut got irritated with failing and it not doing what i wanted it to do. lol

once i get panning down, thats a good start, its an improvement from when i started anyway. lol

Good shots, just ashame about the background but theres nothing you can do about that, agree that they could do with a bit of pp, had a play around and this what i come up with, can take it down if you wish, this was done with a slight s shape created in curves then a slight vibrance and hue saturation increase.

sometimes just increasing the hue and saturation sliders really make a big difference to a picture, not by much i done about +18 on each one, on panning a tip is to try and use back button focus, its in the custom function setting and means that you focus with the star button on the back of the camera, along with al servo this really helped me improve alot.

excuse the noobishness, when you talk about the back button focus button?
do you mean the 9 little boxes? lol i had it focus'd on the center box, and i switched it to al servo. that appeared to help.

i think its more the motion, i was on a tripod as well, just practice really i think and getting the movement down to an art. hopefully get a lot more oportunities to practice this year.
:)

thank you for your suggestions, its really apreciated.

See the star at the top right, when your using back button focus you hold that down to focus and follow the vehicle then take the picture,
go into the menu then scroll down to custom functions then scoll along to number 4 and change it to one, dont forgot youve changed it though otherwise youll be pressing the shutter button and nothing will happen.
You dont need a tripod for motorsport photos, your better of hand holding and following the car with your camera. Hope you understand, i struggled myself to get my head round it all but now its all starting to click into place.
