No. 2 works really well, lovely details in the sky and the composition really draws my eye across the landscape!
The first one I think could benefit from a better composition. Perhaps you could preposition yourself to really try and isolate the focal tree against the sky. At the moment there are some additional trees popping over the horizon that kind of of distract and muddy the view
