Absolutely spot on. If you wanted a camera in absolutely mint condition without the slightest minute fault then you should buy new.
If you buy new then it should go without saying that the product you receive should be mint condition. If you buy second hand and used then to me, mint condition would mean the same as saying it is in very good condition and it sounds to me like the camera is in very good condition. It does exactly what it's supposed to and you're making a fuss over nothing.
