Ebay make small shops unviable

Just recieved an email from ebay regarding fee increases, expect to see less ebay bargains on new gear in the future as small sellers will be priced out of ebay :bang:

It would appear that the page with the upcoming fee changes has been pulled

so this is from memory, basic monthly shop fee increased from £6 to £14.99

final value fees on items less that £50 has risen to 9.9%

from what i could see there are benefits to sellers who have items over £600 but everyone else is going to have to pay more money to ebay the greedy bastads

Have they bowed to customer pressure? not likely is it?

Its hard to tell but my first reaction was to close my shop, so its possible many other people have done the same thing and ebay have decided to have a rethink.

Trying to find some info on whats going on or at least some discussion on the subject, will post some more info if i can find any...

Just have to adapt I guess - ebay has really gone down hill of late.

I do not like the new search function so tend to find less of what I am after these days which is a shame.
