Eclipse sensor swabs

Both of my cameras could do with a good clean. Both now have some stubborn grime that dry cleaning wont budge.

There are three different swabs available, i assume different sizes for different sensors. But i can't find anywhere which are which.

I need to clean a 5d and a 1d, so full frame and x1.3 crop.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I know the Visible dust ones have the prefix 1.0, 1.3, 1.6 after the name
Thats for sensors that are 24mm, 20mm and 16mm.

Type 3 for the full frame, type 1 for the 1.3x crop

What would happen if i were to be a cheapskate, and just get the smallers size and use it for both?

I ran out of full frame swabs (they're on back order with WE) and used a 1.3 swab on a full frame camera with no ill effect, I used one side to do the top of the frame, then twisted it through 180 degrees and used the other side to do the bottom of the frame.

With the correct sized swabs it will be easier to avoid leaving a line of fluid behind but I managed to avoid this.

it will work fine just dont use more than the recommended blobs of fluid !

And don't forget to let the fluid dry for a few seconds before you wipe the sensor

Look for the blue ones down the page. They have heat sealed material on the end thats lint free and cheaper than most. I've met the people from the shop and been given a demo.

They are cheaper than most, mine even came with a tiny bottle of eclipse.
