Editing interface hardware with knobs?

Hi everybody/anybody! I've just signed up.

I want to ask a question: does there exist out there a physical user interface for digital photo editing? Like a separate keyboard with proper physical knobs on. I just hate using a mouse all day.

I'm imagining knobs could be assigned different tasks such as contrast or saturation etc. Or sliders. Maybe a dial or two!

Similar bits of kit are all the rage in the audio editing world.
 
Try a graphics tablet. Pen interface with variable ink density as you press downward and freehand strokes. Nice :)

:thinking: That would actually be rather cool! i dont know of any such device though.
 
Or you can also get slate PCs or Tablet PCs for alternatives to mice
Think of something like an IPAD, but which actually works. :)
