Editing nightmare

Passing the time by re-editing photos from past holidays. Find it difficult to finish up with a "normal" take on light and colour. Lightroom slider maniac, that's me.



Just noticed the wonky horizon. Edited yet again.

I quite like the colour in this image. The thing that jumps out at me is the dark halo around the entire subject which seems to suggest the maniac use of the clarity slider

Looks to me like over-use of vignette, although the clarity has been dropped too. Colour is good. I'd be inclined to just reduce most of the processing by 50%.

Had another go which reflects the time of day that it was taken.

Looks nice as it is. Maybe a touch warmer & maybe some dodge/burning.

Just looked at the original. Missed it before. I'm with Lee, I really like the original as it is. Could convert that to a nice monochrome, too, I'd have thought.
