editing software

jc101, what have you been using until now?
It depends on which versions of Paint Shop Pro (PSP) and Photoshop Elements (PSE) are you comparing.
What you get for the extra 150 pounds you can find out simply by installing the trial version of it (available on Adobe's website). It's well possible that it has extras you won't use, so you just have to try it out, as well as PSP and PSE.
I'd say you're looking for something that suits you and your needs ;)

i use corel pro and find it really easy to use with lots of features

would say that the whole world and every magazine seems to use and promote photoshop
but never had any issues with corel
