EF-M lens on an EF body?

Ok, they were mostly right. But I still did it anyway...

Why would you want to put a Eos M Lens on a EF Body?? That's like putting a Peugeot 106 engine in a Ferrari..

Excellent work! Now if you can just figure out how to move the sensor forward a bit in the camera body, you might be able to get it to focus!

might get something if the contacts could be botched so that focus could at least be adjusted obviously no hope for infinity focus but macro may just work!

And yes, my 5D M3 is somewhat "used" - well over 100k activations but still working fine (as you'd expect).
