EF m to EF s?

Yes
Is it possible to mount an M lens on an efs body? The 22m f2 looks very cheap indeed.

The Eos-M flange distance (register distance) is only 18mm versus the 44mm of EF and EF-S mount lenses. Using an M lens (if an adapter was made) would push the lens out and infinity focus would be lost in the same way as using an extension tube on a straight EF/EF-S system.

If anyone does a suitable adaptor, I would think http://srb-photographic.co.uk/ would be able to supply it. IIRC, they'll be able to create one for you if it's possible too.

any adapter would have to have additional glass elements in it if you wanted to maintain infinity focus much like an old canon FD lens. This always has an impact on image quality and means a decent adapter would have to cost a lot of money, so in short no adapting the 22mm ef-m lens to your eos mount isn't a good idea.

I'm surprised canon haven't released a version of the 22mm pancake in EOS mount though as I'm sure it would be popular with crop body owners as it give a much more useable field of view than the 45mm pancake, but then canon have never released a fast 30mm efs prime which I've always thought was silly given how well the sigma and Nikon versions sell.

There is a 24 mm pancake for crop bodies,

Cheers for the replies!

Shame the 24mm is slower and more than twice the price of the 22mm!

Quite like my little 24mm STM :) I liked my 40mm but sold it since the focal length wasn't great for me but this definitely fits better

I'd like one just for the comedy factor with it's size compared the the boy. Must be nice and light to walk around with.

Just buy an M they're dead cheap at the moment ;)

Logical sense to a man illogical when she sees ANOTHER camera related package arriving.
