Eglinton Castle (B&W added)

The castle ruins near where I stay, me and the missus took a wee wander up there yesterday in the snow and I snapped this and thought I'd try my first HDR conversion from it. I quite like it myself except for the foreground grass and snow which has gone a bit wrong but would love to hear what others think of it. Have I gone too strong with the HDR , too subtle or any other comments much appreciated.

Hmm it does a bit now you mention it, Cheers for pointing that out, gonna have a look at original and see if it's the same in it.

Some will love it but to me it just looks wrong with some of it underexposed and light where there shouldn't be - and a radioactive glow.

not sure the composition is great. Could you take it from further away, at dusk or dawn with a bit more landscape and some dry ice

lol not sure about the dry ice but I'll definitely be back for some more shots at different times of the day, these were taken around 1pm with a very flat grey sky unfortunately.
