Elephant Hawk Moth just for show

Nothing special except the creature it`s self . Hard to really get a true perspective with out being there , but was huge . I found it on the pavement , so scooped it up , took his portrait and put him in a nearby flower bed . Just thought some might like to see it . For reference a £2 coin .

They are even more curious when they extend their "face"
They seem to have a liking for Fuchsias, at least that's where I find the ones in my garden.

Good to see, not seen one this year.

Yes I did observe his extended face , I am guessing the nearby flowerbed had Fuchsias in it at some point , but I am not much of a gardener . I love big Insects . Thanks for taking time to comment , Chris , and Gav .
