Embedded Serial Number Helps Photographer Find His Stolen Camera

Interesting - could be used as an aid to finding robbed pictures perhaps?

Edit - but it doesn't find any of my photo's
 
I've seen a few threads on these systems before, nice to see it lead to a happy ending.
It doesn't work for me either, something about my post processing removes the serial number from photos. Though if someone nicked a camera and used it hopefully they wouldn't have the same issue.
