Picked up one of these and a charger from the classifieds off here for my mb-d10 a while back and have to say very impressed with the life of it..taken over a 1000 raw pics so far and got 55% left still!Thats with fair bit of chimping and messing about with camera.Just curious what do you get out of yours?

Must admit had heard it was good but wasnt expecting that from it..dont think I will bother leaving a battery in the body lol

Am considering one of these for a D800 grip.

I have a cheap as chips third party one. Have used it to take around 1700 shots and there was still some life in it.

I use these in my d3s and d300s with mb-d10. Wow, 1000's of images in all conditions!!

And even better, you get to hammer out a million frames a second if you fancy it. Love the sound of that, not that I have much use for it.

Go for it!..Fantastic life on them.Toomy which 3rd part one do you use?

It doesn't have any branding on it. It's a cheap chinese job of eBay with a built in BL-3 and comes with it's own charger. I had the Nikon EN-EL4a and a BL3 and an MH-22 charger but sold them on a while after buying the eBay one as it's just the same and I didn't need 2. I think I paid about £18 for it.

I've had a couple of 3rd party ones, one from 7-day shop and a couple from eBay and they are all superb at lasting.

Cheers gramps..must admit the price of the nikon one is very hefty!

Haven't got a clue how many shots I can get out of mine ... it's never even been close to discharged :D

The most I've ever shot on a single charge was about 1700 and even then it wasn't anywhere near discharged

Yeah pretty safe to say for my needs with that and the original battery in the camera I wont need a spare on a days shooting:D
