Enchanted Glen

Evening All,
Went to a local event last night, entitled Enchanted Glen, which was a walk around an estate (not the housing kind )
But on this night it was lit up with coloured floodlights and sounds.

the photos didnt come out well at all, but it was the first time i had tried night time shooting. plus i didnt think there would be room on forest tracks for a tripod so i took my monopod (doesnt work very well at slower shutter speeds) turned out i could have taken my tripod as we managed to get ahead of the crowd. but oh well i will know for next year.

I like the first one, but possibly too much black around the lower part. It's worth trying a tighter panoramic crop to see how that looks, as the lit part looks very atmospheric.

I like the coloured smoke trails in the second, but the pic is possibly a bit too busy.

1 is good, but a little lop-sided perhaps?
