I kind of think you'd be better with some of the ground in this composition. To me it just doesn't sit right - don't know why as I take a lot of shots without near ground in hem but woodland shots usually feature some form of ground in them

The ones I normally come across feature mid-trunk. In that respect mine is slightly different. Appreciate it's not to everyone's taste.

It's nice but I feel it needs some ground, even if only a thin sliver, just to anchor the image. Personal taste I know, I respect that.
