EOS M3 and third-party EF to EF-M adaptors

I had some problems with purple haze in some images on my EOS M3, and tracked it down to the third-party EF to EF-M adaptor I was using (which had been working fine on my older EOS M)

I agree especially with the final comment on your blog - the official ones can be picked up for around £30 from ebay so its not really worth not getting the official one

Exactly... however that wasn't the case 18 months ago when i got the EOS M and there was a significant difference in price between the official and knock-off adaptors at that point.
